Leona M Mroz. Passed on to eternal life on March 22, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Frances nee Gburek and Stephen Mroz and sisters Dorothy Rogus, Florence Lobaza, Virginia Rozkuska and Loretta Zabinski. Beloved aunt of Linda Both, Lynnette Losacco, Wayne Deerind, Colette LeBlanc and Ronald Rogus. Dear great aunt of many great nieces and great nephews.
Leona was a life long volunteer serving the Harold Washington Library, Peggy Notebart Meuseum, Ambassadors of Mary and many more.
In 2002 she received the Illinois Points of Light Award. She also appeared in Who’s Who of American Women.
Lying in State Wednesday 9:00 AM until Mass 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church, Golf Road (Rt58) at Meier Road, Mt. Prospect.
Interment Eden Memorial Park. Masses preferred.
